Belarus has been known for its hospitality for years. Belarus’ economic potential attracts many potential business partners to the country.

The important geopolitical location of Belarus also facilitates the development of business tourism. Every year Belarus hosts numerous trade exhibitions and fairs, international congresses, conferences and workshops. Being an active player on the global arena, Belarus regularly plays host to foreign governmental organizations, political figures, diplomats and top executives, celebrities, athletes, and pop-stars.

Belarus has all the necessary facilities to hold various political, economic and cultural forums. Expoforum and MinskExpo are the two major exhibition organizers in Belarus.

The Belarusian capital boasts the second-to-none National Library complex, a unique cultural facility and the pride of the nation. The library equipped with state of the art technologies is an ideal place to hold business forums. It is run by 1,500 computers. The stocks of the library feature 14 million books, including some 70,000 rare publications (old books and manuscripts dated back to the 14th and 15th centuries). Periodicals make up about 3 million magazines and newspapers. The library stocks also feature nearly 1.5 million of foreign publications and more than 122,000 digital documents.

The library has a restaurant, a snack bar, an Internet center, a press-center, the Oval Hall, and a conference hall for 450 persons. The library hosted various summit sessions, including the EurAsEC summit. The building, sometimes called ‘the diamond’ also features an observation deck 72 meters above the ground, which provides a bird’s-eye view over Minsk.

Many Belarusian hotels position themselves as business-oriented hotels and cater for businessmen. For those who value their time and who needs to keep abreast of important developments hotels offer a wide range of communications services. Hotels and business-centers in Belarus provide express mail delivery, photo and video services, and rent out premises for negotiations. Conference-halls are equipped with simultaneous interpretations systems.

Apart from that, business tourists are granted visa support, air and train tickets reservations, and transport service. A person needs a good rest after a busy day, and business trips to Belarus are a wonderful opportunity to make your journey both enjoyable and useful. It is a good way to establish business contacts and broaden your mind.

Belarusian travel agencies organize business tours of different kinds (conferences, exhibitions and tours of companies) both for delegations and individuals. A workshop or a conference combined with hunting or fishing in Belarus’ natural reserves will strengthen the corporate spirit of your company.
