Katulin: Belarus' dream of being a great host of European Games came trueBelarus was determined to hold the 2nd European Games on a very high level and in the most hospitable environment. These dreams came true, Minsk European Games Organizing Committee (MEGOC) CEO George Katulin told reporters on 30 June, BelTA has learned.
George Katulin noted that Belarus set several goals ahead of the games. One of the goals was to organize the event on a very high level and in the friendliest atmosphere. Another goal was to open up Belarus to the rest of the world. “Our dreams came true, we reached our goals,” he said.
“The entire country was excited by the games and tried to hold them in the best way possible,” George Katulin said. He thanked volunteers who deserve a great deal of credit for holding the games on such a high level, as well as fans for supporting and inspiring athletes.
