Minister of Sports and Tourism of Belarus Sergei Kovalchuk met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Belarus Rakhmatulla Nazarov.
"We are ready to cooperate in a variety of formats. It is important to support each other and exchange experiences. In the field of sports and tourism, we can learn a lot from each other," Kovalchuk noted.
One of the topics of discussion was the implementation of the action plan («Road Map») for the development of cooperation. The parties noted the positive dynamics and agreed to further expand joint initiatives.
"Active interaction between our countries in tourism is a shining example of successful cooperation. This is a high level of trust and mutual understanding that became possible thanks to the support of our heads of state," Nazarov said.
In addition, the delegations discussed the participation of the Uzbek side in the international exhibition-fair «Vacation 2025», which will be held in Minsk from March 27 to 29.

"Мы гатовы да супрацоўніцтва ў самых розных фарматах. Важна падтрымліваць адзін аднаго, абменьвацца досведам. У сферы спорту і турызму мы можам шмат чаму навучыцца адзін у аднаго", – адзначыў Кавальчук.
Адной з тэм абмеркавання стала рэалізацыя плана мерапрыемстваў («Дарожнай карты») па развіцці супрацоўніцтва. Бакі адзначылі станоўчую дынаміку і дамовіліся аб далейшым пашырэнні сумесных ініцыятыў.
"Актыўнае ўзаемадзеянне паміж нашымі краінамі ў турызме - яскравы прыклад паспяховага супрацоўніцтва. Гэта высокі ўзровень даверу і ўзаемаразумення, які стаў магчымы дзякуючы падтрымцы нашых кіраўнікоў дзяржаў", - сказаў Назараў.
Акрамя таго, дэлегацыі абмеркавалі ўдзел узбекскага боку ў міжнароднай выставе-кірмашы «Адпачынак-2025», якая пройдзе ў Мінску з 27 па 29 сакавіка.
